The façade is the first thing anyone sees: asphalt or paver driveways, slab walkways, stone steps, planting beds and retaining walls. These projects almost always combine excavation, grading and drainage before the finish, because a driveway that cracks is almost always a driveway that was poorly prepared.

Pool surrounds are one of our specialities around Quebec City: grey or light-toned pavers, large slabs, concrete coping. Every surface is chosen to stay safe underfoot, resist chlorine and take the freeze-thaw cycle, and the spaces that make a pool liveable — dining area, outdoor lounge, lighting — are designed in from the start.

Paving stone is at the heart of most of our projects: driveways, terraces, walkways and pool surrounds, in modular formats or irregular shapes. A lasting installation comes down to what you cannot see — excavation to the right depth, a compacted base, drainage and edging — and that is what separates pavers still running true after ten winters.

Retaining walls, slab steps, stone staircases and edging give a property relief and hold back soil where the slope demands it. A retaining wall is a structure, not decoration: a draining foundation, blocks set to a line, and water managed behind the wall are what keep it from bowing after a few winters.

Paver or large-slab terraces, concrete patios, curved surfaces with integrated steps: we plan the outdoor living space around sunlight, circulation and the furniture that will sit on it, then grade it to shed water and edge it so it holds over time.
